At Tigerpitt Chalong Chai we offer Muay Thai and MMA. We have the number one MMA training program on the island. Our Muay Thai trainers are world class, having trained many champions throughout Thailand. There are only 15 foreign (non Thai) students accepted to train in our camp at one time too ensure quality training, which also makes for a family and team atmosphere. We take our training very serious here and are looking for students that are willing to work hard. We can guarantee that this camp is not like any other Muay Thai camp in Phuket. We have a professional fight team that lives onsite and competes worldwide, so you will always be motivated throughout your entire workout, and we are always looking for new team members.

2 double end balls

Below is the basic training schedule that we follow.
Monday - Friday
7A.M. Start 12K run
Finish run, stretch 10 min.
Shadowbox 10 min.
Heavy bag 3 rds x 5min 1 min rest
Thai pads 5-7 rds x 3min rds 1 min rest
Heavy bag drills (200 push kicks, 200 knees) push ups between each rd.
Sit ups 300
Pull ups 30
Dips 30
20 min technique work
Meditate
Finished around 10 A.M.
Afternoon session3 P.M. start run 5K
Push ups between all rounds
Finish run, tire jump 10 min
Jump rope 10 min
Stretch 10 min
Heavy bag 3rds x 3min 1 min rest
Thai pads 3 rds x 5 min 1 min rest
Sparring 30-40 min
Clinch work 20 -30 min
Sit ups 100
Cool down with shadowboxing
Finish around 7 P.M

Our training schedule may seem intimidating for most, but this schedule is for the athlete at the top of his or her game. Upon arrival you will be given a PFT (physical fitness test) to determine you fitness level, once completed we will be able to make a schedule that best fits your level. PFT requirements Times run, distance 2K
Push ups, max in 2 min
Sit ups, max in 2 min.
Pull ups, max you can do, no time
Coordination drills (crossovers, mountain climbers etc).


But we often mix up the sessions by getting out if the gym and doing mountain and beach training, which can be very fun and motivating for students. We will often do a lot of sprint work before a fight. The long traditional training sessions will build overall body hardening which is necessary for a fighting style such as Muay Thai or MMA. We are also very scientific with our nutrition, to get the best performance out of our bodies. Saturdays and Sundays we offer private training with the trainer of your choice. Sessions last one hour in length and can be very beneficial. Most people will pick up a lot of tricks and knowledge during one of these sessions. Check our prices page for fees.
